Objectives: To expand on our current knowledge of pumpkins, and learn how they grow.
We had many questions about pumpkins that we wanted to know about.
The children enjoyed the walk to FreshCo and our trip to the farm. The children and educators also enjoyed learning about the largest pumpkin in the world and counting out all the pumpkin seeds when we carved the pumpkins.
The most surprising thing we discovered was that the inside of a white pumpkin was orange!
