Objectives: To explore the children’s interest in babies, sparked by the many new additions to our children’s families.
Our project on babies started when many of our children were welcoming new siblings into their families. Throughout the project, the toddlers fostered their skills in compassion, belonging and caretaking as we explored ways to care for babies including; washing, diaper changing and dressing. To conclude our project we had a visit from baby Amelia and her mom Sara, who showed how to change her diaper and get her dressed. We even got to help feed her with a bottle!
