Water Play in a Different Way!

Preschool 1

June has surprised us with very hot temperatures. The Preschool 1 group at RisingOaks Early Learning | St. Brigid has found a fun new way to keep cool outside for those who are not admirers of the sprinkler. Some children enjoy playing with water but opted out of getting soaked during our other opportunities for water play. The Preschool 1 educators got out multiple buckets of water, brushes and rollers, and the children got to work! We painted the school walls using water. Some children decided to clean the windows too! A great unlimited experience to keep us cool during our outdoor time.

During this activity we built a sense of belonging, encouraging children to work together as a team to achieve an end result as well as providing a way to participate fully in ways they feel most comfortable with.

Great work preschoolers! We look forward to more exciting and fun ways to enjoy the weather outdoors.
