In focusing on how does learning happen, well-being is a big part of helping the infants nurture healthy development. The infants have become increasingly able to take initiative, tackle challenges with enthusiasm and persistence and cope with/adapt to changes, frustrations, and the unexpected in everyday living. We are observing the infant’s taking on challenges that push them out of their comfort and discovering the various movements of their bodies. They are beginning to realize when walking up the hill, they have to learn forward in hopes they won’t fall. They are starting to use their feet to push on the riding toy to move around the playground. As well as observing an activity that may push them out of their comfort zone, then participating, realizing they enjoy it.
