Program Name: Toddler 1

This month, the toddlers in T1 engaged in a hands-on learning experience where they drove a variety of toy cars along a magnetic tile road they created. Through this engaging activity, the children explored and practiced recognizing different colors, discussed basic road safety rules (such as stopping and taking turns), and strengthened their fine motor skills as they maneuvered the cars along the pathway.

The activity began by setting up a "magnetic tile road" on the table. The tiles were laid out to form various pathways, including straight roads, turns, and intersections. Several toy cars were provided, each painted in different bright colors (e.g., red, blue, yellow, green).
As the toddlers began driving the cars on the magnetic road, they immediately started recognizing the different colors of the cars and the road signs. They eagerly picked their favorite cars and followed the paths with enthusiasm.

The toddlers were able to identify and name the colors of the cars as they drove them along the road. For instance, Myles picked the blue motor bike and said, “blue one!” Another toddler excitedly pointed to the red car and exclaimed “my my!”

This experience encouraged problem-solving, coordination, and cooperative play, while supporting early cognitive development in a fun and meaningful way.
