June’s Wonderful Experiences

Program Name: School-age 2

As we wrap up this school year and look forward to a fun filled summer, I want to share some of the wonderful activities and experiences children have enjoyed over the past month in School Age 2. These are exciting and meaningful projects that children have been involved in over the past few weeks. This has been a special time filled with learning, creativity, and exploration. Let’s take a look at some of the highlights.

As part of our ongoing efforts to teach children about community service, empathy, and social responsibility, we decided to partner with the local food bank to help those in need. The children have shown remarkable enthusiasm and dedication throughout this project, and we are so proud to share their accomplishments with you.

Father’s Day was a joyous occasion in our classroom. The children were engaged in various activities to honour their fathers. Each child created a personalized gift for their dad, including handmade card and unique artworks. The children were excited to use their creativity and thoughtfulness to make something special.

Our outdoor activities focused on fostering a sense of community responsibility and environmental management. The children took an active role in caring for our environment by participating in a playground cleanup. They collected garbage from the school playground, learning about the importance of keeping our spaces clean and the impact of litter on nature.

We look forward to the children re-joining us in the fall. Have a safe and happy summer!
