Act of Kindness

Preschool 2

We are thrilled to inspire our friends from Preschool 2 at RisingOaks Early Learning | John Sweeney to embark on a journey of kindness. Kindness is not just a social skill but a path that leads to becoming compassionate and empathetic individuals. Let's explore the joy of kindness together, discussing its meaning and how it can bring happiness to others. By sharing their own experiences of kindness, we hope to ignite a spark of joy and motivation in them. Let's brainstorm different ways to spread kindness as a fun and exciting activity.

We are committed to making kindness a habit among our preschoolers. We encourage them to choose one or more acts of kindness each day to make it a part of their daily routine. We are also dedicated to finding simple ways to be kind to the environment, and we invite our preschoolers to join us in this commitment. We are incredibly proud to see the children recognizing the value of their actions and making a difference. Their efforts are truly appreciated and valued.

The children's eagerness to contribute to their community, home, and school is truly inspiring. They've even created a list to share the good deeds they did during the week. To put their words into action, we assigned them tasks for the weekend to help their parents with housework. Nataly's kindness in helping her mother choose clothes, Molly's responsibility in assisting her dad with feeding the family pets, Felix's generosity in sharing his toys with his mother, and Evelyn's helpfulness in aiding her mother with the trash and recycling are all valuable actions that make a significant difference.

The next day we had an amazing time with the children at the park. We wanted to inspire them to make a positive impact on their community, so we suggested that they pick up trash in the park. We made sure they had all the necessary tools and kept them safe by providing gloves and checking for hazardous items like glass. With our guidance, the children worked together and collected trash from the neighborhood. They were truly amazing and set a great example for all of us to follow. Once we finished, the children were eager to see everything they had collected and were shocked by the amount of trash that could be found in the park. Natalie said, “Look, Maria, we have a full bag of garbage; we are helping the planet.”

Next day, Rowan was playing on our playground when he saw some garbage. He quickly picked it up and gave it to one of the educators to throw it in the trash can. We were so proud of him and all the children for making a positive impact on their community. It's wonderful to see how these small acts can make a big difference. We hope to have many more adventures like this with the children in the future!

Preschoolers can actively participate in caring for our planet in numerous ways, such as planting trees, recycling and gardening. This not only has a positive impact on the environment but also fosters a sense of responsibility.
